1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talking to God (in prayer)<\/strong> and allowing God to talk to me (by reading His word), <\/strong>changes the posture of my spirit<\/strong> and sets the right tone<\/em> for my day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Philippians 4:6-8, Pslam 119:25-48)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When my words consistently speak God<\/strong>, but my life consistently lives for Satan, I am being a hypocrite<\/em>. As a Christian, both my words<\/strong> and my life<\/strong> must align with Christ.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1 John 4:20, <\/b>James 1:26)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lack<\/em> of empathy<\/strong> and compassion<\/strong> is a MAJOR red flag<\/strong> and is not a working of the fruit <\/em>of the Spirit.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Galatians 5:22-23, Colossians 3:12)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love is grounded and rooted in authenticity<\/strong> and genuineness.<\/strong> To be fake and in-genuine in any way, is not<\/em> love. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Romans 12:9-13)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have to desire God’s will<\/strong> above<\/em> my feelings.<\/strong> A mature faith<\/em> has the ability to discipline the emotion <\/strong>and one’s own will for the ultimate will of the Heavenly Father. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Hebrews 11:1,6, Proverbs 3:5-6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time does not<\/em> heal all my wounds. God heals<\/strong> all<\/em> my wounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Isaiah 53:4-6, Psalm 147:3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can never be in full control <\/em>of all the wounds<\/strong> that happen to me, but I can choose to be <\/strong>in control of seeking the healing<\/em> needed for my wounds.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Christian, I must understand that love <\/strong>should be the fountain <\/em>from which everything<\/strong> in my life flows, even<\/em> my emotions. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Ephesians 3:17, Colossians 2:70<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

God\u2019s providential timing <\/strong>is perfect. He is never<\/em> behind, too late, or too far ahead in my life. He is always right on time.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2 Peter 3:8-9, Proverbs 16:9)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anything of God <\/strong>and from God <\/strong>will bring about peace in my life,<\/strong> not confusion<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1 Corinthians 14:33, 2 Thessalonians 3:16)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I must not block<\/em> my blessings from God by choosing to hold<\/strong> onto something or someone that is spiritually stunting<\/strong> my growth <\/em>or spiritually being a stumbling block. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Galatians 5:16-17, Ephesians 4:22)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Christian, God is for me<\/strong>, but the Devil <\/strong>is also out to destroy me.<\/strong> The Christian life is a battlefield,<\/strong> not a playground<\/em>. I must be wise<\/strong>, not naive<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1 Peter 5:8, Ephesians 6:11)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just because someone wants<\/strong> to be with me<\/em> or marry m<\/em>e DOES NOT mean I should say yes.<\/em> I cannot be everybody\u2019s wife <\/strong>and every pursuit<\/strong> is not God-sent. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My past,<\/em> my mistakes<\/em>, and my sins<\/em> do not define me. Christ defines me<\/strong>. In Christ I am a new creature<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cannot be racist<\/strong> and truly love God.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me not having<\/em> an earthly husband does not<\/strong> make my life any less significant. <\/strong>Me getting<\/em> a husband will not make me more significant. I am significant<\/em> and dearly loved<\/em> because of who I am in Christ,<\/strong> not because of my relationship status. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

People\u2019s expectations <\/strong>for my life are not<\/strong> the words I follow<\/strong> for my life. God\u2019s word<\/em> is. What God desires and wants for me <\/strong>has the SUPREME voice over all the other chatter<\/em> in my life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is necessary to ask myself every time<\/strong> someone enters my life,<\/strong> \u201cIs this a divine <\/em><\/strong>connection,<\/em> or a satanic<\/strong> distraction?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

America is not untouchable <\/em>and this world and it’s man-made gods are NOT greater than the TRUE LIVING GOD<\/strong>. This pandemic <\/em>and all of 2020 is proof <\/em>of that.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A man\u2019s CONSISTENT character <\/strong>speaks the loudest <\/strong>about the truth of his heart.<\/strong> If a man is consistently ungodly,<\/em> that is who he is. If a man is consistently godly,<\/em> that is who he is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every day<\/strong> I get to choose<\/em> to be disciplined<\/strong> or I get to choose<\/em> to be distracted.<\/strong> It\u2019s up to me. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It takes consistent courage<\/strong> to heal. This God-given courage helps me realize I am not healing for others approval, but for God’s glory. During my healing process, I must be willing to step into somethings that are extremely uncomfortable<\/strong> and scary<\/strong>, but are necessary for God’s glory to be demonstrated through my healing journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I must never be more patriotic<\/strong> for this earthly<\/strong> country, than I am for my true heavenly<\/strong> home. As a Christian,<\/em> my ultimate citizenship<\/strong> is in heaven<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The power<\/strong> to break dysfunctional family cycles <\/em>lies within God<\/strong> and His power<\/em> to work through me<\/strong> and my willingness to work for Him<\/strong>. Because of God, I can boldly proclaim, \u201cThe cycle stops with me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am an abuse survivor,<\/strong> and I am no longer ashamed<\/em> of speaking that part of my story. I am no longer a victim<\/em> of what has happened to me. But through Christ <\/strong>I am victorious! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The safest place for me to always be, is in the \u201cwill of God.\u201d<\/strong> For it is in God\u2019s will that love, peace, direction, and protection<\/strong> never cease. His will is perfect. <\/em>His will is perfect for me. <\/em>Doing God\u2019s will <\/strong>isn\u2019t always easy,<\/strong> but it\u2019s always worth it.<\/strong> In \u201cHis will\u201d is where I want to stay for the rest of my days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
