NOT<\/p>\n

SETTLE.<\/p>\n

I know, trust me I know, you\u2019re tired. You\u2019re tired of the wait, tired of hurting, tired of seeing others get their answered prayers but you still feeling like you have yet to get your answered prayers. I\u2019m here to tell you that God has not forgotten about you. His love for you is still very present.<\/p>\n

“Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.”-Psalm 136:26<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The temptation to settle is always<\/strong> going to be there but you do not have to give into it.<\/p>\n

Satan<\/em> wants you to settle.<\/p>\n

He wants you to give up.<\/p>\n

He wants you to believe that God is not faithful.<\/p>\n

He wants you to just throw in the towel and accept less than God\u2019s best for you.<\/p>\n

DO<\/p>\n

NOT<\/p>\n

DO<\/p>\n

IT,<\/p>\n

PLEASE DON’T.<\/p>\n

When we choose to settle we are choosing defeat verses victory. When we choose to settle we are telling God that He is not faithful, that He is not who He says He is and that He does not deliver on His promises. Those are straight out LIES<\/strong> from the enemy!<\/em> GOD IS FAITHFUL.<\/strong> You must believe that! That promise will fight for you when the lies of the enemy tries to attack you.<\/p>\n

“But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.”-2 Thessalonians 3:3<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For every woman out there who has told herself that settling is your \u201conly\u201d option, it\u2019s NOT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If you are a woman who has chosen to settle for a dating relationship that is less than God\u2019s best for you, don\u2019t!<\/p>\n

Get out of it right now!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, get out. <\/strong><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t matter if you just started dating this person, you\u2019ve been dating for years, you\u2019re engaged to this person, or it\u2019s the day before the wedding. If you KNOW <\/strong>you\u00a0have settled for this relationship, get out before it\u2019s too late. Life has taught me that sometimes it takes more strength to walk way then it does to stay.<\/strong> Your willingness to stay in a relationship that is not within the will of God for your life, will continue to block the blessings that God wants to give to you. We can\u2019t expect to reap the benefits of God\u2019s promises, if we stay in a state of disobedience.<\/p>\n

“If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”-James 4:17<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You already know that God did not lead you to be with the man you\u2019re with. You\u2019ve seen red flag after red flag. You KNOW, no one has to tell you. You’re trying to be the god of your life, instead of trusting and waiting on the true God. Deep within your heart you don\u2019t have peace about the relationship.<\/strong> You\u2019ve fallen in love with his potential, instead of his reality. You\u2019ve tried to create a fairytale of what you hope things to be, while blinding yourself to the truth of what God has shown you about the relationship. You’re choosing to settle because you\u2019re tired of waiting, you’re tired of being alone, and you’re sick of your heart breaking.\u00a0But the truth of the matter is, you will continue to hurt as long as you stay in something that God did not orchestrate.<\/p>\n

Stop tolerating and accepting less than God\u2019s best for you. God wants to give you HIS BLESSINGS!<\/strong> We must be obedient to God\u2019s direction and instruction if we want to reap His true blessings. WE MUST!<\/strong> Sometimes as women we have a bad habit of accepting and tolerating behaviors and things that we do not have to. If you are in a dating relationship with a man that you know God has not led you to be with, stop holding onto that. Your peace and your relationship with God is depending on it!<\/strong><\/p>\n

For every woman who is single and being tempted to settle, don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

Stop entertaining the thought and idea of settling.<\/p>\n

“But Ashley, I\u2019m 30, my biological clock is ticking!<\/p>\n

But Ashley, I\u2019m lonely, and I\u2019m tired of coming home to an empty house.<\/p>\n

But Ashley, all my friends are getting married and having babies, I\u2019m the ONLY one left.<\/p>\n

But Ashley, He said if I don\u2019t have sex with him, he\u2019ll leave me!\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll say it again,<\/p>\n

DO NOT SETTLE!<\/p>\n

Choosing not to settle will always be worth it because through our obedience to God, we will be blessed but MORE IMPORTANTLY\u00a0God will be glorified!<\/strong><\/p>\n

What we must understand is this…God wants to get the most glory<\/strong> out of our lives and settling does not cultivate that. Choose God<\/strong> and choose to be obedient<\/strong> to His will. He loves you. He is faithful. He has not forgotten about you. Stop focusing on what you do not have, or how you have not gotten what \u201cyou want.\u201d God knows what you need and what is best for you. Trust the process<\/em> and trust His promise.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cGOD IS FAITHFUL!\u201d<\/p>\n

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” -Proverbs 3:5-6<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Be encouraged!<\/p>\n
